Anthony Geary (born May 29 1947 in Coalville, Utah) is an American actor. He has starred on the ABC daytime drama General Hospital as Luke Spencer from 1978 to 1984 and from 1993 to present.

Geary's character began as a "hit man" and later as a rapist who fell in love & afterwards married his victim, Laura Webber (played by Genie Francis). the character became thus popular that a writers turned Luke Spencer into a protagonist. Spencer & Webber's 1981 wedding began what was arguably the greatest romance in the history of General Hospital, if does'nt daytime television. A early 1990s saw Luke Spencer in a series of about unlikely plot line apparently lifted from either the web sites of a spy novel, which lone served to more the character's popularity.

He as well portrayed Luke's lookalike full cousin Bill Eckert in General Hospital from 1991 to 1993.
